Thai Restaurant Concept 1

Royal Thai Heritage: Luxury Thai Restaurant Design

A luxury Thai restaurant design concept for fine dining, hotel outlets and shopping-mall flagships abroad. Because it is created remotely in Bangkok by Queen Enterprise, it brings the calm grandeur of a Thai palace into a modern dining room that works in Sydney, London, Los Angeles or Dubai.

The look and feel of a luxury Thai restaurant

Royal Thai Heritage is built on three ideas: real Thai craft, warm light and generous space. First of all, guests should feel that they have stepped into Thailand the moment they enter. However, the room must also feel clean, modern and comfortable for a long dinner. For this reason, we balance traditional art with simple forms and quiet materials. As a result, the space feels rich but never heavy.

Key design elements

  • Carved Thai lattice screens: backlit timber screens divide the room into private zones and, at the same time, create a soft, golden glow.
  • Ramakien murals: large gold-line murals from the Thai epic also give the room a strong, authentic focal point.
  • Khon masks: in addition, a curated wall of classical Thai dance masks welcomes guests at the entrance.
  • Open kitchen and chef counter: a marble counter lets guests watch the chefs, so it adds theatre and therefore builds trust in the food.
  • Natural materials: terrazzo floors, oak-tone timber, rattan cane chairs and navy velvet banquettes.
  • Woven pendant lights: finally, large woven lanterns bring Thai handcraft into the ceiling and keep the light warm and flattering.

Who this concept is for

Above all, this concept suits owners who want a premium price point and a memorable dinner experience. For example, it fits a fine dining Thai restaurant, a Thai outlet inside a hotel, or a flagship branch in a high-end mall. Moreover, it works well for private events, because the lattice screens can close off a section for groups.

Royal Thai Heritage concept: frequently asked questions

Can this luxury Thai restaurant design fit a small space?

It can. For rooms under 150 m², however, we use fewer, larger art pieces and lighter screens, so the space keeps the same luxury feel without looking crowded.

Can my local contractor build the carved lattice screens?

In most cases, yes. We supply cutting files for CNC routers, so most local joinery shops can make them. Alternatively, we can have them made in Thailand and shipped to you.

Is the Ramakien mural a real painting?

That depends on your choice. For example, you can choose a hand-painted mural by Thai artists, a printed panel or a carved relief. We recommend the right option for your budget.

Can you source the Khon masks and Thai décor for me?

Of course. We source authentic Thai-made décor, lighting and furniture in Bangkok and arrange export shipping to your country.

How long does the design take?

Typically, the Concept package takes 2–3 weeks. Meanwhile, full design drawings for construction usually take 4–6 weeks, depending on size.

Can I mix this concept with the Muay Thai concept?

Absolutely. For instance, many owners use Royal Thai Heritage in the main dining room and add a casual bar or takeaway zone in a street-food style.
